Rob MacRae currently serves as a Senior
Financial Advisor at Assante Capital
Management Ltd. managing $114 Million on
behalf of 214 client households. Rob was one
of the founding shareholders of Assante
Wealth Management, an organization that
evolved from a privately held Canadian
company into a publicly traded company with
an initial public offering in 1998 before
being taken over by CI Financial in 2003 for
$846 Million.
As a guest radio host Rob filled the role of
resident financial authority from 1994 to
1997 prior to being a weekly expert on talk
radio from 2008 through 2010. Rob has been
quoted as a financial specialist in national
print media dating back to 1999. Since 1991
he has hosted over 100 public seminars on
financial success.
His educational accomplishments include
three degrees, a Bachelor of Physical
Education, Bachelor of Education, and a
Bachelor of Business Administration with
honors. Professionally he is a decorated
financial planner holding the certification
of Certified Financial Planner, Registered
Financial Planner and Certified Investment
Manager. Rob’s greatest success is his
family, which includes his wife Marie and
children Sarah, Riley, and Meghan.
