									Canada Protection Plan will present an 
									overview of life insurance in the 
									non-traditional market.  
Available 
									options for clients will be examined for 
									rated, postponed or declined cases. An 
									in-depth review of the life insurance 
									landscape, providing a clear picture of 
									where simplified issue insurance fits, 
									including: product features, benefits and 
									process, target markets and opportunities, 
									underwriting philosophy and claims process. 
									
The focus will be to provide brokers 
									with strategies to identify and reach the 
									hard to insure clientele within their 
									growing network of clients and referrals.
									
The presentation will also provide 
									simple-to-use tools to access the different 
									segments of brokers’ networks of clients and 
									proven methods for prospecting in today’s 
									marketplace.   
									
									
									Chantal began her life insurance career in 
									the early 1990s at London life insurance for 
									the head office located in London Ontario 
									where she was promoted to the individual 
									life insurance side of the business and held 
									various positions in customer service and 
									policy change. 
									
									
									In 2001 Chantal became a life insurance 
									underwriter working with both London life 
									and Great West life insurance products as 
									well as underwriting structured settlements 
									and impaired annuities. In 2005 she had the 
									opportunity to underwrite remotely from home 
									for Manulife Financials Montreal office, and 
									she did so until 2009 which is when she 
									relocated to Calgary.
									
									
									With the transition to Calgary Chantal 
									ventured onto the sales side of insurance 
									and became an Estate Planning Advisor 
									Associate at TD Wealth until a Sales 
									Consultant, insurance Position became 
									available at Great-West Life.
									
									
									Chantal then played a key role with the 
									Great-West Life Sales and Marketing Centre 
									team in Calgary. She was one of the local 
									life insurance, disability and critical 
									illness experts. She provided product 
									knowledge creative sales ideas and industry 
									insight to advisers within the Freedom 55 
									Financial and Wealth and Estate planning 
									group distribution channels - some of the 
									finest in the business. 
									
									
									Chantal has now assumed the Regional Sales 
									Director position for Alberta, Manitoba and 
									Saskatchewan with Canada Protection Plan. 
									She is responsible for building and 
									supporting sales and establishing and 
									nurturing relationships with many of the 
									successful distributors and brokers in the 
									industry.  She will promote products through 
									presentation seminars and other approaches 
									providing superior service and ensuring a 
									positive experience.
